My hair

22 Jan

Bad hair specifically.
It’s a bad hair day. Messy curls and waves. Eww. It’s kind of like lazy Monday hair, except it’s Tuesday.

It’s now evident I badly need a hair cut. (More on this later).

Now, I don’t often wear my hair curly through the week because while it is wash and wear, I wash at night. Girl is not a morning person! Now, if I spend a good 90 minutes blowing out my hair, it’s good to go all week.

When you have a bad hair day, it seems to be the only thing you can focus on, speaking for myself of course. Students are especially, unusually direct with their opinions on my hair. Today I got, “Is your hair darker?”and a, “Did you wake up late, Mrs.H?” Charming, no?

Any other curly chicks out there? What products are you using?
I will soon have a post on making your curls look the best.

Just Frizz Ease. I slick it through while my hair is still wet, let it air dry, and resist the urge to comb or brush it.

I tried straightening my hair once, just to appease my friends. It took three hours to do and held for 45 minutes. ;D

P.S. I, too, badly need a haircut. P.P.S. I think your hair is beautiful in this pic.

I can’t imagine spending 90 minutes blow drying my hair. Maybe I’ve spent that much time this year blow drying it. Super straight hair here.

Ha! Well, it is what it is. I’ll probably blow it out tonight so I don’t have worry about it until Sunday.
