Don’t say “Gay.”

19 May

Don’t use this word in any manner other than its actual meaning; happy or homosexual.

Why? Because you shouldn’t use words in the wrong context as it makes you look stupid, for one, and for two, it’s just offensive.

People can be gay, yes, as in happy or homosexual.  Objects or language cannot be “gay.” Don’t label them as such; when you do, it makes you sound ignorant and obtuse.

Calling something gay as an insult, is well, insulting to people who actually are homosexual. It severely pisses me off when someone doesn’t agree with something another person does, or is, and uses this topic of disagreement as an insult or a slam.

It is seriously infuriating for me, same goes for the word, retard. Don’t use it. It isn’t cute, it isn’t funny, it’s offensive and shows your true misunderstanding of language. Don’t be misunderstood; if you don’t like something, say you don’t like it, but don’t call it gay or retarded. Every time you do, a kitten is drowned.

Someone doesn’t choose to be retarded, just as someone else doesn’t choose to be gay (you can cuss and curse me and tell me I am going to hell on this one, I stand firmly resolved in this). It is simply who these people are. They are people, just like you and me.

I don’t hear anyone calling something “straight” as an insult. See how ridiculous it sounds? Stop being ridiculous.

Save a fucking kitten!
